    Axial .28 vs. LRP 28

Both the SH mills I had ran fine tuned no easer or harder than a Picco. That being said my Piccos smoked them and I got about twice the life out of them. To each his own I just thought you might want to here from someone who has actually run them both. P.S. I have 40+ years in RC Good...

Picco P3-28 #51232 Part Numbers, Instructions, and Stickers

Get a new LHS. He probability told them how to break them in. Piccos are High pinch low tolerance motors not for fools like at your LHS. A properly broken Picco will outlast most mills including the LRP it is made from better and harder materials. I am in the process of replacing a LRP with...

    Axial .28 vs. LRP 28

Buy the Picco not much more cash and a far better mill top to bottom. The quality difference more than makes up for the 20 bucks. A bit harder to break-in (due mostly to superior and harder materials and its made to much closer tolerances). Just food for thought. You can get better mills...

    MT truck track ??

Somehow my buddies with Revows got the Ideal that Monster truck racing would be something like stadium truck racing. Not at my place, no smooth track and I will run you down and over if possible. To my Savage Buddy's MT racing is a full and almost constant contact sport. To a Revo driver I'm...

    MT truck track ??

Ruts not a problem. I'm thinking I can smash the Little ones into the berms if I make them to my advantage or at least force them into a line I can run them over on. This would be OK under track rules.(my track) Chaos

    MT truck track ??

It is currently under 3 or 4 feet of snow. I could get you a shot with the ski runs in the background and you could see the mounding that the big jumps lie under but I drought if that would help much. You ever been to Montana this time of year?? I have all the room I want to devote to a track...

Engine Preheat In Middle of nowhere

It has Ben snowing but nothing much yet. I live up on a mountain and look straight across at the ski runs. We were Abel to break in my new track this Saturday so all is good with the exception of losing to some little ####ey sounding REVO. Chaos

Engine Preheat In Middle of nowhere

Easy You live in Canada for Christ sake. You should know a little something about the cold. Just do what we Montana boys do and break out the ice fishing gear. No problems. I use my portable ice-house and heater. It is very easy to drag around and gives you shelter also. We run on the lakes...

The new "heavy duty" HPI spring PN 102522 and that servo I mentioned is 333oz at 6 VDC and $89 at Tower. Chaos

    servo saver

I'm replacing a better servo than that?? Why so small a servo? 94 oz at 6VDC Seems a stock bell crank will handle that servo with no problem just replace the spring. I am willing to sell you the one I'm replacing in my XL its far better than that. Better yet look at a "Hobbico CS-170"...

    Stupid question #1 (at least)

The pin is on the crank side on mine. It is also lose so I can pull it out of the crank ?? I'm thinking that pin was supposed to be connected to PN#15294 and now has come lose and was left in the crank when I removed it. I.E. is might slip under load (original problem)and also the pin has come...

    Stupid question #1 (at least)

Pin what pin? Looks like mine has a hole that goes onto a pin on the crank?

    Stupid question #1 (at least)

Yes inside the cover and onto the crank. I wonder if this is a high failure item I.E. something I should stock extras of?

    Stupid question #1 (at least)

How about 15294? It does the work of the oneway but seems functional.
