anybody can man this bulkhead he used to do his 6x6

If you're asking about the differential housing, he used the housing from a CEN Matrix arena truck, with the bulkheads from a Savage .21/.25.

Goodsy's Brushless Savage build in progress.

That's sick, man. Do you have any better pics of how you reinforced the TVP where you cut it?

PRC Carbon Flux XL, Black Cat

Slacking? You mean selling out to Traxxas. And yes, the offset does effect the turning a bit, mostly by just reducing rollover. With the old stock black servo-saver spring it did tend to push out of the corners, but the new HD spring mostly solved that issue. Moving up to a heavier servo...

    Xs flux

Try all of the above suggestions, but I think you may want to prepare to spend some money... I've been seeing a TON of complaints on other forums about the Vapor ESC frying on 3S. Apparently, there's a small warning in the manual somewhere, that 3S is only supposed to be used for occasional...

    Sparc's FLM Tranny Forward Conversion

If you have a Hobbytown, check there before you buy your Savox online. I bought my SC-1256TG from TCS for $80 a couple weeks back, and my local Hobbytown got them in a couple days later for only $65. Only thing I've ever found cheaper in a LHS than online.

    My first double backflip

um... don't get me wrong, that's a good double, but... That's not a short course truck.

    FLM Regular chassis build

Slick, man! Just a tip for the A720 Big Bores: Find the spring height you like with the spacer clips, then measure your spacers.Transfer that measurement to the tube spacers that come with the shock spacer parts tree and cut it to fit. No more lost spacers, and it looks a little cleaner.

    Length of stock front turnbuckles?

The correct way to measure is from the inside ends of the plastic pieces, and it should be 44mm on the front, 44.5 on the rear. If you go to HPI's site, they have the manual available as a .pdf. The instructions and measurement for your question is on page 40 and 41...

PRC Carbon Flux XL, Black Cat

Skid plate will remain clear, other than scratches, lol. Fortunately, I can get moe Lexan cheap as scraps at American Plastics when this one gets too whanged-up. Unfortunately, the Mulcher tire is discontinued. In fact, Pro-Line has discontinued all 3.2" MT tires except the Masher, and they...

PRC Carbon Flux XL, Black Cat

Yup, I finally put my money where my mouth is. Picked up the XL-length TVPs, the extended motor plate, and a servo plate. I also picked up a piece of 1/8" Lexan from American Plastics here town for a polycarb skidplate. (Lexan only cost me $1.00...) Dropped the receiver in a project box from...

Skid Plate made from Bullet Proof polycarb material - See Through!

I stole this idea for a skidplate for my new PRC stuff. Went to American Plastics here in town and picked up a scrap piece of 1/8" Lexan for a buck. They cut it to size for me, and I'll drill the mounting holes on my Dad's drill press. The best part is, it's so cheap I don't have to worry about...

    Share your crash damage pics!

Hey Shark, is that an actual Flux, or a conversion? Are you using the Flux bulks? (HPI #102272) If you're using the bulks that came with the X or XL, they look the same, but they don't use the stronger composite plastic that the Flux uses. The composite Flux bulks are more resistant to flexing...

    NOOB Question

If you don't mind a heavy cooling head, Dynamite Big Red motor are pretty strong. Plus, they're a lot cheaper than other motors. A lot of the guys in our local group use them, and they not only run as well as the more expensive motors, they also take a heck of a beating without breaking.

    Tires keep coming off!!

Not all "Super Glue" is CA, though. Tire glue, BTW, is CA plus a mix of rubbers that gives it a better grip on the rubber of the tires. I use Losi medium tire glue, and I've never had to re-glue. Sand the glue area, make sure to use a generous bead of glue, and I also make sure to glue along the...

    Modding a Flux Centre GearBox.

Looks like you really need to spend a little cash on some TVPs. TCS makes an really nice set that is super-strong: http://www.tcscrawlers.com/TCS-5mm-Chassis-for-HPI-Savage-Flux-Black-p-17756.html If you look around the site, they also make several different colors, and XL-length TVPs, as well.

    Batteries on flux 2350

And especially on the HP, you DO NOT use anything less than 25C 5000Mah. That's straight from Castle Creations, who developed and manufactured the Torq/Blur system, the HPI relabeled version of the Castle Mamba Monster/2200kv ESC and motor. The 2350 system in your truck is also a Castle...
