We have a few in the area but only one that caters to all the major brands about 30 min away. We use Ebay quite often to be able to stock parts but also found one of the shops that dismantles and parts out new trucks up on Ebay about 20 min away which has been our one stop shop lately for all...

Savage XL back flip
Took the truck out today (Savage XL) and am extremely happy with the tires/combo. A completely different truck then before and handles very well. The tires definitely do expand (in 3rd) like the Losi Claws we tried but they are quite abit lighter as well which helps...
That's what this site is all about, sharing ideas and experiences. I'm real happy with the look of the truck now and with the quick spin we took tonight (couldn't wait) they seem to work very well. Need to get it into some open space to see how they work out but so far so good.
Just can't put my temp gauge down yet, it's like watching the gauges on your dash of your car for me. Plus with the kids we have 3 trucks going at once tyring to keep going with our own. We like to run on the safe side keeping the fuel companies in business but always looking for the perfect...

500F, can't imagine.. Appreciate it, sounds like I've been working way to hard to keep the 5.9 under 240F. The Associated 8.0 if it gets to 260 unintentionally will just sound like it's going to detonate itself into pieces. The front bearing of the AE8.0 is only good to around 250F..

Is this for all HPI engines including the 5.9? Our 5.9 likes to be at least high 220's to low 230's but runs very well at 250 but I try to keep it below that mostly due to our other trucks not liking 250F and up. Just used to the Losi (Dynamite) engines range I guess. The MGT 8.0 would...
Beadlocks
Only on the outside, the inside is just glued so I'm not sure how functional they really are. Just threw them on last night and really didn't take a good look at them yet. We'll have it out there this weekend and I'll post back how they perform. The tire is a soft compound so the...
Summit tires
Thanks, The only complaint I've had with the savage is the tires if you're doing anything but bashing or straight line playing around with minimal higher speed turns (too skinny with rounded side walls). We've tried the Losi Claws from our older LST1's and they worked well just a...
New to the forum, here's our Savage XL with the Traxxas Summit tires with Traxxas 17mm hex adaptors which needed slight mods to fit but worked out well.
