    i remove the mill and elec, and toss it in the tub with dishsoap....have a small pump and hose to wash er down. then wd-40 the bearings etc etc

    you could have started off by reading his top post, when he explains "last time i raced my steering stared acting funny" so me having had the same issue i spoke up about the nut backing off. i said nothing about tightening the nut down to make the saver useless so i don't know where YOU are...

    he does not need a stiffer spring, whats with telling everyone they need hop-ups for every problem? at best he needs a new servo as was said already.

    you can tighten it down until it takes a fair bit of force to activate the servo saver, Ive had similar problems with the nut backing off, add some thread lock and it should be all good.

    well my x ss came with metal spur and vented c.b. i set the mesh exactly like hpi says to with a piece of paper, slipper as well...both gears look like they are in perfect condition. so you think i should switch to plastic?:resp:

    I also use a very small bead of ultra copper to seal my bulkheads around the bottom plates and just a small amount of heavy auto grease on the ring gear. i started using grease, but thats what make the real messes for me, my home made gaskets come off very easy with the wd-40 residue i leave on...

    oh, the grease or oil/silicone goes inside the diff cup, not the bulkhead =)

    its like that from the factory (small amount of grease). the trans needs no lube, just a shot of wd40 from time to time. And i fill the diff right up so its full to the top of the spider gears.

    Yeah baddasz, i was keeping in mind that any liquid might leak, granted this lucas is very thick and sticky, when it gets hot at high rpm's it could leak, if it holds it viscosity tho it should not leak at all. Ill run it for a few gals and open up the diffs and let y'all know how it held up...
