Hi, I'm having this exact same problem. I'm building my first savage and my clutch doesn't spin if I tighten the screw. Looking at the manual they say the shim is 5x10x0.5mm (Z694) so I used that shim, which they provide in the kit! I then swapped this out for a few 8x10x0.2mm shims and put them...

Great thread guys. I've just started to build my first kit (X SS). I'm shimming my diffs right now and thought I could start following the manual next. Didn't realise I needed to seal the engine. Another thing to add to the list!

Dude, these videos are really helpful. I have spent ages reading through all the posts on diff shiming and trying to figure out exactly where I'm supposed to put the shims. Jeremy's stuff is great and explained it well if you know what you are doing but your videos made it crystal clear for this...
I haven't even started painting my first body yet but I've been researching it too. I found the following site really useful. There is great advice on masks. Hope it helps.
