    Engine stalls after half throttle!

your to lean. back out the hsn and give the motor more fuel. bad mesh will just stripe out your gears.

Savage 25, First nitro, runs really bad.

Lean out ur HSN. The one on the top of the carb. LSN is more for take off response and idling .

Savage 25, First nitro, runs really bad.

$25 is a great deal!!! I've jumped on that... new glow plug, new fuel. stock needle setting, carb around 1mm. start with HSN... turn needle in 12th. make adjustments in relationship to a clock!!! then hit the LSN. which is pretty much the take off setting!!!

    Parts availability?

Every time I break something on my Savage I have not had a problem getting replacement parts. Ebay, Amazon, internet hobby stores and I'm the original owner of my Savage .21. Only upgrades are black coil springs, Big Joe's and other wheels and tires, dial brake pads, steel gears and a Picco...

    Transmission

sounds like tuning problem not transmission. make the engine richer. sounds like you are to lean and strave the carb. end result... motor cuts out.

    Picked up some purple parts...

if they were for the servo saver you would only have one. i just took apart my savage completely and those two post looks like the ones that hold the battery tray to the truck. if you have your manual look on page 20 and 34. you will see the parts.

    Picked up some purple parts...

Pic 2 looks like the post that hold the battery tray and the other bracket looks like the one the goes by where the gears are. It holds the slid plate in place. If I'm right.

Can a jr style connector be plugged into a bec connection

Just solder the right connect on the battery. The plug will cost you about 5 bucks with the job done.

    motor break in

sounds like you can turn your idle screw down a bit and slow down them wheels. you said"if you run it mid throttle then punch it it takes a second to get the RPMS up to full throttle speed." this is from your LSN being to rich. it should have a quick response when you hit the throttle. once you...

Flat battery run away truck !

If that battery had a full charge and then you lost it might be that hump not holding charge and time to replace it. Bad cells. Is the return spring install right? That thing should of close the carb when power was lost.
