Hey guys what are your views on a 1/8th scale crawler, preferably using a savage chassis? Is it possible? I know a lot of guys like to use the Tamiya Clodbuster, and I have seen that some use the HPI Wheely King. What do you think? I just traded out of my CF savage build into a ax10 crawler...- Filabob1

hpi savage motor replacement
I like my .28 LRP. Not too bad priced if I can remember. Whats wrong with the SH? Depending on whats wrong with it, you may be able to save the mill if you think is worth saving. Pick up a new piston and sleeve, repinch the sleeve?- Filabob1

Thx Hop, those were 22's on there and the ride was a lil too rough for my liking so I now sport some 20's. Much better ride. -

savage won't start
Did you ever put after run oil in after break in? Also, pretty important when you break in, make sure you are at bdc after you run it. This will help prolong the life of your mill. You may wanna pull your carb and make sure your needles are clean too. But other than that, reset to stock...- Filabob1

runs lean on half tank
Hey Savage, this has been an issue with savages for a long time. Just search "half tank" and you will pull up all the discussions on this topic.
