    Just 4 Red Coils

I have run 2 gray in the rear and 2 red in the front. It worked nice for racing ,except for having to use 3 preload spacers to keep the rear end up. I was still running all 8 shocks though, 35 wt. in the out sides and 25 wt. on the insides.

Any Unhappy Axial .28RR Owners??? Post Here!

I have one and it is in the middle of getting shipped back to me, because the p/s wore out 2 or 3 races after break in. Axial told me that is was because I was running the os plugs and they are shorter then normal, thous creating more heat. Now in all the other motors that I have had, I always...

    pc case Apluscase CS-EL Diablo

Believe it or not those bigger fans are quiter and will move a lot more air at a lower rpm then the small ones. A 80mm fan running at 45,000 rpm is loud.

    Share your crash damage pics!

Nice clutch carnage. Looks like they just melted under the heat. I would say go nova but with the way you ate those shoes, I am going to guess that you will eat the bell with them.

I like the hell fire tank, its 150cc but man it is tight in that box. I had to cut away the side of the radio box just so it would fit.

    Drivetrain Upgrade

:hardlaugh: I have gotten 3 of those my self, it comes from landing jumps while on the gas. I think the stock dog bones are actually stronger then the sliver "harden" ones.

Which Pipe for Savage X 4.6?

You won't have to tune it constantly once you find the your sweet spot. but if you are racing with it, definitely cheaper then swapping out the pipes for the different types tracks.

starting the engine takes too long??

The only time when I have ever had a problem starting the motor is when the piston is at the end of its little life, and been runnig for 5 minutes. Other then that yea check every thing out, completely rip the motor down clean it and put it back together making sure to seal it. ...... and how...

    DSX2 or 3?

I have the dx2 and love it. Wish I had gotten the dx3 for that 3rd channel, and it has more memory too. The only problem is the stock receivers don't work so well for indoor racing (something to with with static build up...... dam truck would drive on its own), I had to go and buy a pro receiver...

    Rear mounted fuel tank

Yep and it works good, a few less minutes run time though. But it is a quick fix vs the mid tank mod. I used the ofna tank 125cc.

    Sucking dust past the filter

Another tip use a hose clamp instead of zip ties. I have not had mine fall off since I swaped.

    Truck Cleaning

Your local hardware store will have it. Now if they have it in the gallon is another question. I usually mix it with denatured alcohol then hit it with the air compressor. And change the air filter every few runs depending on how dusty the driving conditions are.

Original Weight of Savage Shock Oil???????

drop the oil back down to 35w, and put another preload spacer on the rear and it should hold back the squatting just a bit. Every car squats when you give it the gas, but it is your spring rate that will keep it from squatting as bad.
