Extended chassis?

Hi. I'm new to the savage site - a few months, but not to RC's. I had the xl plates shipped to me and I then cut new sets out of stainless steal - cut out only the holes necessary (like for transmission) and left the lightening holes covered (didn't cut them out). The heavier weight from the...
