Relocate reciever and battery to the rear

keep this in mind. when your romping around or jumping, usually there is a bad spill once in a while that involves a horrible wack to the back end of the truck. the first thing that is going to get smashed is your expensive receiver and box. i would fab up a bracket or aluminum cover to shield...

    Venom Creeper

hey bank, how's it going. for the creeper, i didn't get a chance to take it out to the rocks, the dogs were out and they really enjoy biting my r/c's. i have the day off of work tomorrow so i'll end up doing something or other with it. maybe i'll actually paint my first body...

    Venom Creeper

thanks for the help man. i got it together mostly last night. all i need to do now is hook up the remote front locker, which isn't cooperating, and solder the motor wires on. i did drive it for a minute, it will crawl straight up a wall with no problems. has a ton of torque with the 5000mah...

    Venom Creeper

i bought a novak crawler combo. and unfortunatly, i am limited to stick packs. my charger doesnt do li-po's and i don't have the funds after this to get a new one. i probably can get some car sized stock on weights and just cut them down can't i? (i can get them for free)

    Venom Creeper

sounds good. i got 2 of the remote diff lockers. but unfortunatly i only have a 3 channel remote. so untill i get a 5 channel (front dig) i'll just keep the other unit as a spare.

    horrible r/c luck

well, we are getting ready to move, so my truck will be kept in a locked garage along with all the toys and tools. the people couldnt get to even one car without one of the 7 dogs in the house noticing. (made for a bad time trying to sneak in after curfew in highschool)

its safe out here in the boonies. we have never had any problems with theft in our area, so i'm not worried about it. if they were going to steal something, the keys stay in all of our vehicles (including the 2 semi's) all the time. if that shows you what kind of area we live in. lol.

    horrible r/c luck

i'm not all that worried about it, i just wish i would of brought the firestorm up too. that thing would of been awesome on the beach. i did get some cool videos of me and my dad playing in the mud on the quads. as soon as they get back in town i'll get them posted.

So this past week, from last sunday to wednesday, i went on vacation to the family property in northern michigan. i took my highlift and the Savvy along for the ride. I get up there sunday night at about 6, eat dinner with the folks, unpack my junk, and go to bed for the night. so far so good...

What other rc's do you own?

i have my savvy, a e-firestorm converted to flux spec BL, a tamiya highlift undergoing either four linking, or pulling conversion (haven't decided yet), and a micro-t, which i got from SDMorris, but still haven't used.

MY IRC 1"+6mm LCG CHASSIS+MID TANK KIT+LST SHOCK BUILD

nice lookin truck. you may want to get the front tires to toe-in ( / \ ) just a bit so you have better handling in corners.

    Savage Pics July 4th

i had all my parts to put my savage back together in my bag, and forgot my savage!!! but i remembered the tamiya, and managed to snap the front driveshaft in it. btw, it sucks in 2wd with 4wheel steering.

1st Build for best friend where to start ??

STAY AWAY FROM STAINLESS!!!! they strip out very easily because its a softer metal. go with the SMF Kit. comes with enough screws to do 1.5 savages.
