    Need help s25 engine bearings

Interesting. I thought Force made the 21BB, S25, F4.1 and F4.6 and Kingstar made the K4.6 and K5.9. Are there any other differences?

Theoretical top speed for 2 spd, 3 spd and 3 spd with high gearing

I have clocked my 3 speed sav F4.6 17/47 with dirt bonz at 41mph. There was a guy from savage-central that build a savage that went 75mph. His videos are still on youtube llkoolskillet was his name.

    Weak power to the rear

Screw pin for the diff cup missing comes to mind.

    Savage diff upgrade.

I run Vorza cups with the sintered BP gears. No diff problems in 6 years.

Which gear set up should I use for savage x4.6

My F4.6 3 speed with 18/47 and dirtbonz tires and Bronco body ran 41 mph. Probably could have tuned a little more out of it but that was plenty fast with those tires.

A little late? (Savage 21 to Brushless)

Not sure on motor or ESC, I'm still a nitro guy. For the diffs you can build them up with the BP ring and pinion with Vorza cups and proper shimming. Got to do front and back because the ratio will change with the BP gears. The Vorza cups are plastic but have a metal insert where the bearing...

A little late? (Savage 21 to Brushless)

don't go crazy on the motor or batteries or the diffs will not like it. They are weak 2 bevel gear plastic cup diffs which didn't really last long with nitro power.

    Nitro star t.15L issue

The front tires help it not roll over when turning. Its definitely not a corner carver.

    Nitro star t.15L issue

    Nitro star t.15L issue

Sweet. I have one that I took to my LHS they have never seen one before. I did some research there were only 5-10k made worldwide.

    Nitro star t.15L issue

    Savage-central for sale

Man that does suck. I spent many hours on that site. Joined in 2004 right before I bought my S25 RTR. Still have that truck I believe the only original parts are the front arms and front bulkheads. Its a beast now.

Melting spurs and stripping clutch bells

+1 that plastic spur was set way too loose. All you need is just the slightest amount of play between the clutch and spur. All I run is stock plastic spurs and bells with no problems.

    Help identify!

Definitely a Titan. Parts may be available depending who produced it. OFNA was just a US distributor of Hong-Nor and Hobao. I have a NEXX10 SC and can still get Hong-Nor parts for it.

another "can anyone identify this engine" question

^agreed. To me it looks like a Traxxas 15 from the carb and backplate. Not worth rebuilding IMO

    Over heated

Try richening the LSN a bit. I have found the Traxxas engines are sensitive to LSN adjustment.

What is this and what engine?

https://www.hpiracing.com/en/kit/10402 This is the one I was talking about. Yours is not the 18SS because of the plastic camber and toe links. It doesn't really matter though, all the parts interchange. Looking at it again I think you may have the FE 15 engine on it, the T15 has a black block...

What is this and what engine?

That is a HPI RS4 MT2 first gen it looks like to me. It has the upgraded 100cc fuel tank on it. The engine may be a T-15 with a different cooling head on it. The exhaust looks like a RS4 2. I would upgrade it to a tuned pipe of some sort to get a bit more power from it. I have a MT with a HPI 18...

Savage 25, First nitro, runs really bad.

Thats good. It would still be a good idea to tear it down completely and clean/reseal. $25 is a steal I wish I could find a deal like that.

Savage 25, First nitro, runs really bad.

What about the air filter? You cannot run it without one and if you bought it that way then it would be best to tear down the engine, clean it and reseal. Nitro engines rely on tight clearances between the crankshaft and crankcase under the carb to seal the case. Running without a filter allows...
