    Maybe compare the HP vs RPM and figure out which you prefer. You have a 3speed transmission right? I would go for less RPM and more HP. However will use more fuel.

    Doesn't hurt to remove the excessive play in your diffs. This is a good vid I used to help shim my diffs: Good luck and happy bashing.

    It can handle it. Maybe shim your diffs if you haven't already. I shimmed the front and rear diffs and pinions on my xl flux plus some 30k diff oil and it handles 6s without a problem (but I can't!). Before I shimmed them I went through a couple of bevel and pinion gears.
