    Bodies for x4. 6

Just out of curiousity, I put one of my Lst's beside my Savage to compare wheelbases. I was suprised the Savage was 3/4" longer.

    Bodies for x4. 6

I ran the Hpi 69 Charger body back around 2005-07, it didn't look bad on the extended TVPs. I wish I could source another. An unbreakable body would be great, look forward to the review.

    Bodies for x4. 6

I've done the same, but the wheel wells being entirely ahead of the rear wheels always bothered me. Works just fine for bashing though. I guess I should have hoarded a few bodies while there were more available. Truggy bodies should be the proper wheelbase, they may sit a little too high on...

    Bodies for x4. 6

I was about to ask this same question, your thread came up in the search. My savage has Flm extended TVPs, I'll be following this thread.

Nitro conversion to flux kit #102534 and other parts

I find even way over powered brushless setups are so smooth compared to nitro. They just don't give you the same satisfaction. With nitro you are more involved, tuning and such. Brushless you just open your wallet then get the gear ratio right... done.

Nitro conversion to flux kit #102534 and other parts

I like brushless power for my go to vehicles. If I could only have one rc though, it would be Nitro. I just enjoy them more for various reasons.

    Current RC trends?

Thanks for the reponses guys. So things haven't changed much since the T-maxx burst on the scene. Since then Traxxas has been the popular newbie vehicle of choice. At least the Savage challenged the Revos and Maxxes for quite a while. Around here I'm told that the Short Course trend is...

Fuel tanks were still coming up on the backorder list, according to my lhs. I found a few priced reasonably on ebay though.

    Current RC trends?

Hi, rc has really declined in my area so it is pretty hard to gauge what the most popular platforms are. Short Coarse was big here a few years back, but people have been saying it is on the way out. So I was just seeking input as to what the current or next big thing is, in regards to rc...

    Here's my Savage

Nice truck, reminds me of the builds from the old savagecentral site. I first got into savages around 2005, the Xtm 24.7 pro or Sportwerks .26 were "THE ENGINE" to have on sav.cen.

    Rebuilding the basket cases!

Things are progressing slowly, it's just hard finding the time right now. Anyway it rolls! Savage number 2 seems to be missing a lot of parts, it may take a while for it to be done.

losi lst .28 help with exhaust pipe

If you are running stock tires, there is no real need to gear up. The stock tires are fairly heavy and large diameter. That will up your effective gear ratio but all that rolling mass may be holding your peak rpms back. My Lst s we're only used on a track so I never ran the stock rubber.

losi lst .28 help with exhaust pipe

I don't have any first hand knowledge, regarding the effects of the output gears. I bought the set I have when the XXL came out and never got around to swapping them. In fact I never used any of my offroad RCs from then, until now. Switching the output gears was a fairly common mod though...
