AM upgrade and newbie questions

id like to go with a newer failsafe upgrade radio system and wondering all what i would need,. I realize i need a new transmitter/remote and the receiver. My question is(which i cant seem to find it in the threads) will i have to upgrade my servo's or will the stock servo's / battery plug in to...
