Any way to quiet a nitro?

This is probably an unusual question, but is there any way to quiet a Savage X 4.6 down a bit? I wouldn't even mind a slight loss in performance. I haven't yet bought one yet, and the noise is my only concern. I don't want to go electric because of the limited run time and I plan on taking...
