WOT problems

My Savage has been running great until today when i changed the aluminum tuned pipe to a ribbed pipe from HPI. Its starts no problem half throttle is good. When i give it WOT it bogs down and does a funny noise, the noise is had to explain. What should i do ? cornfused The engine is k4.6. Thanks
