i really cant imagine any .28 engine being a slug in a savage
Even the F46 will wheelie on demand when tuned
I'm guessing its hard to tell the diference in such miniscule amounts of horsepower and torgue
I put it in my FLM shelf Queen and has been a long time since i bought it( 3 or 4 years now) but I did take the time to brake the motor in before i retired it. i think it may have a half gallon through it. it always seemed to start and was easy to tune. my only issue was the combo pull/spin...
I put glitch busters in both my nitro savages. the X i have run and the blitchbuster seemed to be doing its job.
but in the XL, when it was under testing and the new servos getting set up , it still seemed pretty glitchy. have not done any further testing
Just cause they advertise water proof don't mean it will run after you dunk it in water.
Water resistant is goid enough for me. I am aware i am not to expect my savage to run after i run it in the lake. No false premisces going on here
Run that waterproof servo through the lake and expect it to...
the only reason i bought such hefty servos was becase it made the most cost vs oz of torque sense. I could just as well bought lesser servos for the same price or way more. the savox were the best "bang for the buck" of all the servos i looked at in that $70 - $90 price range. I don't get much...
Also, as tempting as Ebay is ALWAYS keep a heads up on the coupons TowerHobby is offering. i dickered with a couple big ebay sellers trying to get them to drop the price if i bought 4- Savox Sv-1270tg servos at once. but with all the seller fees epig has it was hard for them to match the $30 off...
over 200oz is almost needed for good braking capabilities. with the sc1267 i noticed that mythrottle linkeages were really bowing when on the wide open throttle, so i had to tame them down just a bit in that direction and left them cranked open on the brake side.
braking seems ok, even at 180oz...
yea, nowadays $80 is the next step above OEM. don't know about any others, as when i was looking for servos i was going Savox
plenty of servo choices out there, should be one that grabs your fancy
you will be alright.
I don't own 2 of any motor. i like to have options
i currently have a picco p3 and a novarossi 27-rt sitting idly while there is a OS30Vg and a Lrp .32 being run
i was using 1267's in my steering and they got moved to throttle and i am working on selling the lot of 0251's i hd in the throttles. 1267 looks like it will be really hard on linkeages if you don't tame it down some
