A couple months ago i switched the servos in all 4 of my rc's(1 electric and 3 nitro) to 6.0/7.4v servos thinking it would be an easy switch over.......NOT in an electric, IF your speed controler cannot be switched to 7.4 servo...

    work just fine on 6.0v. you just arent getting the full benefit of the servo by feeding it 7.4v

    yea, but good luck trying to run that 7.4v in a nitro unless your ready to sacrifice more money on radio gear that are 7.4v LiPo compatibale. i put all 7.4v servos in 3 trucks a few weeks ago, and was let down after trhe fact to find out my radio gear probably wont handle that much voltage

    T-maxx is pretty squishy, even If you try to de-squishy it, it wont be able to withstand anymore power than what the 3.3 puts out jut rebuild the 3.3 or replace it with another.     that a newer style transmission? the brakes on my savage X AND my XL don't have those nifty collars (hpi 86145) for the brakepads and retaining screws, they both use step screws which are always a PITA to mess with at re-assembly time I need me a couple sets of those!
