    Same here Mickey. I set it so that when I toss my truck and it slightly rolls backwards it spins the gears freely. Never had issues in a few years of running Robinson gears. .

    Lrp engines are nice and powerful .easy to tune it's all I run. Love them.

    I run them on most my trucks now. I like them they are smooth in high air jumps ..never bent one yet or any other issues yet.

    Yeah was thinking the Antanana slides through it and it holds the end in place kinda how I've eabtqata mine under the roll bar before but use that piece to mount it to the side of the roll bar? Just the tip of the end going through that weird piece? Even the manual and parts list don't show...

    I'm a motor head all the way. Only run nitro. .but sadly nitro is fading it seems other than in racing truggies. If he don't know how to tube and nitro I say go electric for simplicity. If he does know nitro ...then stick with the nitro guys. .after all it's a monster truck. Not a lil ol street...

    I never had any issues with customer service ..they sent me a wob..no problems. ..and nice seeing you around.. I say just get off Ebay.. cheap enough to avoid the hassle. IMO ..

    thx jam son welds in school and his teacher gave him free range of the class because he's already past the highest level he teaches the students so he has my son teaching or helping the other students or doing the teachers personal projects ..so he asked if he could bring me his helmet and help...
