The pics aren't the best ...but when the one way pin busted it was 3/4 throttle so it shaved the rod a few microns . So all that stuff went right up inside the motor.
It would be next to impossible to get the bearings cleaned out ... on top of the need for a piston/sleeve/rod set ... and of...
Was running the one of my trucks around for the neighbors last nite and jumping a ramp over the fence and the thing just died ... so let it cool down for a bit and this is what I find ...
Yep ... the very same ones as the bearing that go in the knuckles.
I figured its about time for me to contribute something really useful to these here forums ....

Ok so after going over the manual for the Flux and the XL .... heres what the manual says ...
FOR THE FLUX :
The bearing on the cup side of the diff is HPI Part # B032 or a 10x16x5mm.
The bearing on the ring gear side is HPI part # B085 or an 8x16x5mm
FOR THE XL:
The ring gear...
Yep ... the holes where the linkage goes thru it will definitely need some attention through the season. So if you wanna go with a good idea ...BALL LINKS ... but remember any method you choose to use ...maintain it.

You dot really need the Z bend pliers but for 15 beans you can go wrong ... no ball links or clasps to fail or worse yet break in a crash ... causing a run away
