GPM C-Hubs & Steering Blocks = Better Steering!

+1 on the GPM parts. The Savy in my sig, have the same part but just in blue. With street tires on the street, my savy pretty much has the turing radius of a 1/10 toury car... I joke, but I love the performance. BTW, my metel savy is made out of 70% GPM parts.

Upgrading a Savage 25 chassis to the Savage X.

I agree, if you are going to the X i would recommend to go straight to the XL TVPs. You will like the bigger and longer tvps. Your engine will barely even notice the weight difference. Its not that much weight you are adding, maybe an couple of ounces.

    well its not a savvy.

I didn't see that before, but it is a kit? What kit is that? I was thinking it was something custom that you are building. Most rock crawlers out right now, except the Axial's AX10 Scorpion are all really custom type models. They take very little parts from the base model, and use nothing...

    Grease Power

???? Well you got me thinking now. 50K in my CRT almost works like a lock for the first sec or so. But I would rather have quicker turning radius. But you lost me with "kill the ring and pinion if ya land on throttle with the 50k 5 N 7 K work good" ? Thanks for the thought,

    rotostart trouble

I will hope someone else can answer 100% for sure. But I believe so, i'm doing some searching around but not finding a + or - about it. But I'm sure after reading through some of the HPI forum threads, that HPI #87117 roto plate is the beast you want.

    Your Best And Worst

Nice post Jester! My best feeling with a savage is after I finished building my silver and blue 25 series savage (the one in the sig), I then pop on the Charger led. Went to the Chargers game (playing the raiders!) and during the tailgate party ran it a few times, but mostly just display...
