    I have run 17/47 18/47 and 19/47 all meshed fine in an X. What brand and type are you using?

    RPM is RPM bud ... You can use the lil extra power it has to gear it up for the RPM loss but I don't see the advantage in that.

    I have used FLM in the past but didn't like the added weight and resulting clumsiness it adds to the model. I have run platinum R/C with better results on both my flux and nitro. IDK if hes still in biz or your budget. But its good stuff and strong as using steal... There are others but i never...

    Sounds lean to me. Will it start at idle or do you have to crack the throttle/carb slide ? what is the slide gap at FULL closed (pushing it in)
