    Well upon further investigation those losi parts are all unavailable and or discontinued on every site I’ve tried. I guess everything I’ve been hearing about the hobby dying off has some truth to it.

    X2 ?. I’ve always had good luck with rrp. They were the only gears that would hold in my flux trans.

    You are correct olds97. Wish I could find those on a shelf somewhere lol. Amain does have the pull rope but that backplate is pretty elusive. I’m gonna try the Losi parts. I’ll post up if they work because everywhere I look for the lrp stuff I find someone else looking for the same thing...

    I actually bought mine from someone on savage central after a friend in london found it for me. got it for 125 but Fast Lane Machine or FLM sells it new and I believe they have more than one version to choose from. The version I have is the forward tranny conversion chassis.

    I drew a line where I'd put strings on badlands were I to try it myself. One round around the center would not hold up long.

    I've tried tape gorrilla tape and have found that under 40mph it works pretty well but it's worthless above 60mph. Works great on a track though.
