I had an LRP .28 spec 3 in a Losi Aftershock and it was a beast and it was easy to tune. My second pick would be an OS .30, I ran one in a Savage SS, this was the easiest engine to tune and keep tuned I have ever owned but the LRP had little more pep IMO.
Heres a look at the power of the LRP...
I wish I could have entered but I just got the Savy runnig again...I will enter the next one!
I had to vote for lilttledevil on this one...short and to the point....And I know what it's like to film and drive!!!!

I re geared 17/47 and ran about another quart through it. It wheelies on command, shifting into second....it's a handful when your hard on the throttle and the head has some scars to prove it LOL. I just about...
If you sink an engine it's not ruined. I completely sank a trx 2.5 three times, took it apart cleaned and lubed everything put a new glow plug and it started like nothing ever happen to it. The engine lasted a little over 5 gallons, 3 of them were after the last time it sank.
Take a better look at the video, they are Jumbo Kongs. The video was made 2 1/2 years ago, were Swamp Kongs even made then?

This is why I never buy anything without a clear description...I don't like surprises.
I just put an Axial .28 in my Savage! Great power and very easy to tune...The only reason I didn't mention it was he said he wanted to spend more than it would cost...Still scratching my head on that one LOL.
I have read great things about the Axial and the STS, both or around $125.00....I...
What is more important speed or power?
The .30 and up will be fast and have A LOT of bottom end torque.
A .28 will have good low end torque but will turn more rpm's
If both engines are geared correctly the .28 will have the better top speed.
Instead of a force engine take a look at...
I use plasti dip on the servos and put the receiver in a balloon. To get a balloon to seal I zip tie it close to the receiver, then put grease in the tail of the balloon then zip tie it again, the grease serves as a water barrier.

Sounds like you need to adjust your idle screw. When you apply the brakes the carb slide will close until it hits the idle screw, tighten it a little and that should cure that problem.
If your at factory settings it's probably a little rich, start leaning (turning clockwise) the HSN. For...
