if it is anything like what I went through with snowboarding. Then you need to enter into events, place well and get your name out there. But other than that I don't know.
SMF has good baring prices. Frddj also made a nice thread dealing with all the different barings that they have. I believe that they go for like.99 each so much better then LHS. www.smfstore.com
She is done and tested!! I went to a parking lot last night and ran 3 tanks before it got dark. She ran like a champ! I did have to mess with the steering as it needs some more adjusting.
In this pic you can see that I found the metal clevis'
In this pic you can see how I set up my...
100% agree with that!! But still Great info. If I ever have to put mine away, I will be coming back to this thread to read again. is there a way to put tags on a thread to make it come up easier when you search for it? Some times I just can't find anything on this site. Might just be me...
Think frddyj means that she is might be trying to subvert your RC ambitions by pretending to help you out. But in reality she is sabotaging you!! AKA Double agent. Not trying to talk for you Fred.
even though SMF may be out of them ATM. you should wait. I love my FLM motor plate. I snapped my stock 4.6 motor plate like a twig, with the FLM I have not had any issue and I have torqued my truck enough to bend the stock TVPs (upgraded to FLM extended lcgs) and the FLM plate is still in...
are you trying to get me beaten up? If I say anything against Byron's I am a dead man hehe... But if you must know Bank, I switched back to the fuel that I was using before I tried the Gen2 30%. I just can't get out to Fitchberg every time I need fuel. I thought that I found a place close...
I was at my parents cottage doing the family thing. I did get to run a little. I found a nice place near the cottage too. Nothing like what was in the video but still pretty good.
I picked up the dynamite 086 pipe for my F4.6. I really like it. I started with the stock black plastic pipe. The 086 was a noticeable difference over stock. You need to look out though, if you are running the two shock setup make sure you get the correct header. You don't want the one that...
Good luck! I know you have helped me and many others with all of your posts/shout box convo's. Thank you for everything that you did for the site also! Don't be a stranger. Come back and visit once in a while.
Thanks Frddyj. I went to the store in Danvers. I am happy with the way the linkage turned out for now. Now I need to wait for a few more parts.
I forgot to mention! I had to modify my RPM box. Evidently it is not big enough to fit the stock receiver from HPI. so what I did was pull apart...
Looks good pope!! Gonna look even better once you get that RSC that you just won on that beast! well maybe not look better as you wouldn't see that upgrade that often. But you will see and feel the difference in the handling.
Over the weekend I spend a couple of hours redoing the Ofna linkage on my build. It was really a great day for it too. It was raining outside so I decided to go to the LHS and poke around for some ideas. I like the look of the metal clevis thingies that I have seen on some of the mid-tank...
Yeah, it is a great pipe. swapped the stock plastic pipe with the 086 and have not looked back since.
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXMVY1&P=ML will work with the 2 shock setup the dynamite header will only fit a savage with the 1 shock setup.
