Well with the new rollcage on and with more looking and looking because of the winter no outside fun. I discovered that the battery cover was just a real pain to get on without moving or major damage to something. so i cut it in half to get in there better.
Which led to me cutting the...
I had these 40 series pro line weld racing rims lying around so i went and bought some tire for them. I got pro line 3.8 big joe tires i put them on i think i am getting to the mean stance i was going for. What do you all think?
I have had them on my first savage and i am not sure if they hit because i never really got the testing in to see before i took them off. I recently dusted them off and wanted to try them out alittle more so thanks for the tips.
I will do the lowest gearing i geuss the savage will allow. As for the price they were i think usually they were around $130.00 but the guy i got them from gave them to me for $65.00 brand new just to get rid of them so what the heck.
Ya but at least if i do a nose to the sky move again before the brain connects to the finger and tells it to bring the front end down and doesn't. I think i maybe have it covered this time not to pop another fuel tank which i have wreck so many times. I think i am on my forth one.
Wow that stinks i would have thought it was a good piece and durable. I guess stock stuff is not always good parts. Maybe they build the stock parts like that so you go to the heavy duty stuff for more money lol.
This is my rollcage i got from rc solution. I will not be able to test it till the winter ends but it is ready to go.
It even said on the directions that you have to cut the body to fit around the cage i hate to cut up the body too much. On the other hand it does give it a roll...
Well got a whole new truck and now i am destroying the diffs gears when i jump it so i think i am going to keep a speed truck. Maybe do a road truck get some rims and gear it up for it. Let me tell ya i am still not really going all out but i keep a better handle on the temps though.
Here is some pictures of me trying to work on my inner photographer. I was trying to get a real life look while i was running my nitro car on this side road. Tell me what everyone thinks and yes no paint but i think that is going to happen real soon maybe.

Thanks i actually got a laugh out of it too. I was running over a jump and up it goes and i knew right away when it landed and the motor shut down instantly that the fuel tank bit the dust and i know i need to move the fuel tank somewhere else. I had a bad feeling...
This is what happens when i had a brain fart and did not hit the brakes in the air. The nose of the truck was kissing the sky and i did not think or realise to bring it down by the brakes ouch. It demolished the motor case, the motor mount and plate shoved the motor into the brake discs and...
