well the lrp one, the idle set screw broke. Then the other day running with the 5.9 was just on the second tank doing some runs across the field and on the way back she started running wierd then died, as I walked up to the truck I saw the inlet side of the carb just hangin down to the side the...
well this is what I found, the threads seamed to be keeping the bladder from seating on the bottom, I used the dremmel to take away some of the thread which was bured any way so I had an even line from the thread all the way around, then I sealed up the bleader holes with some med ca glue. let...
Ltrus.....how did you make out? I also bought these caps, bladders are good and they don't seal, leak out same as yours. Only thing I can think of is the threads on the aluminum caps, towards the end of the thread closest to the bladder seal. Gonna give the ol' plumbers tape a try.
ya I don't think I really noticed much difference on my lrp 28 with the buku, even with drilling out the holes to the larger size that Dave recommended. But that mill has more power than my 5.9 so can't really complain. Once I get the new carb for the lrp I'm gonna re set the tune with the...
Was out running the savage, tuning it up. There were a couple guys out playing soccer. When they were done one guy came up and was (edit) that I was there and basically threatened me saying if I'm there next week we'll see what happens, I said ya we'll see tough guy, he was like what, I went to...
So the parts are available, and the carb is on back order, non the less its available and on the way, sure beats buying a whole new motor because of a stupid screw.
ya I checked that, it is considerably bigger, I even checked the needles on an old os engine and it's too big too. My hobby shop was able to track down a complete carb, should be here in 2 weeks roughly:)
The place I bought the engine says the parts are no longer available, I think he just wants to sell me another motor. The parts say available on the ae website, so I don't know.
Mine are big joes. I recently changed the foams, they seem a little better. But you can just feel it with one finger on the inside and one out, tire feels a little thinner on one end than the other. When they inject the mould with the rubber there is no guarantee that it is even. besides they...
I'm not running the 5.9 with the buku I wanted to know if anyone has tried the lrp 30 with one. My 5.9 is a turd and is why I have an lrp 28 but the idle set screw is broken. The place I bought the engine says the parts are no longer available which is why I was inquiring about the lrp 30...
I had just installed the ofna linkage and didn't install the spring with it just used the stock return spring, and it popped off, I have since changed to the ofna spring and got rid of the stock on, all good now.
yeah eh, I just ran the stock 5.9 and was quickly reminded of why I bought the 4.6. I was running with my big joes but they shake like mad so until I fix my old mill or buy a new one and try to figure out how to get these wheels somewhat balanced I'm not running the truck.
