I got my Savage a couple years ago but i already had a revo and a t maxx. my t maxx snapped a con rod and my dad got a savage 25 roller from ebay the same day. so we got the maxx on ebay and because of that i have a savage to this day and love it!
yea i used to go through a body about every couple of months until i just bashed withought it on the truck. i only run the body on the truck when i am at a racing event. also the prepainted hpi bodies are thinner than the unpainted bodies, but if you want a good durable body pro-line is the way...
i picked the integey ones. i learned that you sometimes skip on good tools. i bought a set of bohunds hex drivers and they bent and stripped within the first month of me having them
thanks. yea when one of my friends gave me the chassis new i decided to go with a purple and black theme. no use on letting the chassis sit around and collect dust
Whats up guys i was goin through some pics today and i came across some pics of what my savage looked like when i bought it off ebay. there is also pics that show how it progressed to what it has became now. enjoy
yea the same purple one that i have had. just a few new things, wheels, transmission hardened steel spur gear and clutch bell ect. i got the savage x that I'm turning into the small block from my dad because i traded the revo for it. and my dad got the x from Rickey Ownley
i haven't had very good luck with them motors. my t maxx and revo both blew up the same way. the con rod broke up top near the piston and tore the block up. traxxas has supposively fixed the weak points on the motor though. they make good power. thats what we put in our t maxx puller
yea we will but we wont be pullin anything. mabey my dad will get his mess straight and give you a run for your money in the brushless class. i still have to talk to henry cross about that small block motor mount for my new x
yea that sounds like your dad. lol he likes to make things. it would be cool if you could incorperate the diamond plate for a motor mount like the chassis. what motor are you using?
hey trav i think that fastlane makes a brushless motor mount with the plate and everything. it don't have a pic to it but heres the link. check it out. http://www.fastlanemachine.net/proddetail.php?prod=FLM49050&cat=22
