If you don't want to pay to much i say axial 28 with a good tune and geared right you will have a hard time keeping the front tires down or if you want a little more pricey motor i would say lrp .28
What i do is take small zip ties run it through the clip and mount the zip tie to the truck this way if it comes out the zip tie still holds it and just put the clip back in the body post
I daily drove it for a long time tell I started thinking this mpg isn't so great time for something better now it sits inside a heated garage while the daily driver sits outside lol
and a little in cab action of it with the old motor will get outside video and inside video again this coming summer or maybe even winter if I take it out for snow runs
Believe it or not stock transfer case and axles still don't know how they are holding up lol
for gear reduction its 4:11 gears waiting to go in when the solid axle goes under it
thinking a set of dana 44s under it next winter or maybe some Rockwell 2.5 tons
Ok and people want to know what it costs to run per a year lets say its pricey here are some basic numbers
to run a full summer of events
fuel minimum $1,500 or $2,259.87 for a summer mixing pump gas and race fuel this is just the blazer
fuel for the truck to pull the blazer was around $800...
