Well got the ROTO start cleaned up and removed all the excessive grease I had so brilliantly gobbed inside... the one way bearing seems to be gripping again... the bad news is while I was removing the engine, 2 engine mount screws broke off rendering the motor mount worthless... LOL so now I'm...
Well after a week of my WELL GREASED ROTO START.... I have learned that its NOT such a good idea to add grease to the ROTO START!
Apparantly the grease causes the One way bearing to start to slip .... And now it does NOT grip all the time... I'm going to try to clean the grease out and see if...

I'm not sure... I installed the same servo on my steering and I'm about to add one to my throttle as well... I would assume as long as your able to "Reverse" it with the switch on the Radio then it really would not make a difference... I guess thats why they included those switches... so we could...
When my steering servo went out I just went with the Hitec HS-5955TG Digital Titanium Servo ... picked it up from our local track... I paid a bit more for it because I'm still new to the hobby so I learned the next time I will get it off E-bay... allot better deals without a doubt... I paid over...
I just had mine off and opened it up and JAM PACKED it with some Molly based bearing grease... their are no seals on them so nothing will stop the grease from oozing out over time...

I noticed that there is too much "PLAY" or WOBBLE on all four tires/rims... Lost for terminology but I think if we had some spacers to go in between the Pin and hub to take out some of the slack it would allow the tire to run with less WOBBLE. This would allow for better top end...
YES... I have since learned how to reach... it will reach you just got to get it at the right angle and then stick it through the right hole.. LOL Pun intended.

Why not just purchase another ROTOSTART and mount it to the back side shock tower. and connect it to the engine ROTO via a DOG BONE ... I have been eyeballing this idea for a few days now... The dog bone length would be the toughest part... Where can we find an assortment of Dog bones? This...
Good deal... is their anyone else who wants in? This is looking to be a like a great deal, Cheaper then the LST shocks and from the sounds of it better.

I installed the fail safe not even a week ago and I'm glad I did. Apparantly the while I was out trolling around the park my antenna was ripped off/out... it would STOP if it where just a few feet away from me.. At first I forgot I had the fail safe and thought it was the batteries going bad...
They come in sets of 4 from what I understand... it appears these are intended to be used as the "SINGLE SHOCK MOD" ... So $75.00 will get you 4 of them.
DOESGO, any chance on tossing in free shipping coast to coast if we hit 10x total paid for.

Ok, so the steering post/saver are a NEEDED bearing upgrade... how about the rest of the RTR? Do I need to purchase an entire bearing kit for my Savage or is the steering post/saver all that really needs new bearings?
