    and just as another FYI...the next model up...I can't recall what it is but its like 90 bucks..will charge LiPo batteries as well...but I think they took away the feature that lets you hook the charger up to a auto battery.

    I picked up this one: http://www.rcslot.com/pc-radio-control-slot-cars/DYN4044.html Its pretty cool..has a status indicator and trickles after battery is fully charged...you can also hook it up to your car battery when you're out in the field to do onsite re-charges if necessary. Good luck
