    I like SMC and Gens Ace LiPo batteries and would recommend them to anyone.

    @ray1956 I'd upgrade those connectors to Deans or EC3 connectors and then make sure you are using a low voltage alarm as the 309 ESC does not have any kind of cut off protection.

    @EUGENE477 wheels and tires are really a personal preference and very dependent on the terrain you're running on. Overall I'm a fan of the pre-mounted Proline Trencher's.

    @NightFlier X4.6 I agree with Jam, McMaster-Carr is a great place for screws. You'll end up with much more screws than you probably need while saving money and getting much stronger screws.

    You should have no issues running the Savage Flux in the rain, waterproof or not I tend to stay out of the mud puddles.
