That's some amazing work. I liked that video just a tad bit more because I have an old ford just like that sitting at my parents house - my first ever vehicle.
@ray1956 I'd upgrade those connectors to Deans or EC3 connectors and then make sure you are using a low voltage alarm as the 309 ESC does not have any kind of cut off protection.
@EUGENE477 wheels and tires are really a personal preference and very dependent on the terrain you're running on. Overall I'm a fan of the pre-mounted Proline Trencher's.
@NightFlier X4.6 I agree with Jam, McMaster-Carr is a great place for screws. You'll end up with much more screws than you probably need while saving money and getting much stronger screws.
