I dnt remeber it's been awhile. I still want to try the high speed gear though. I do know things do break on 6s. I only run 4s enough power for me to have alot of fun
Just the skid plate will be fine. I ran mine hard and flipped it numourous times with no damage to the tvp's. I was also thinking of getting the high speed gear but I've read somewhere that there not good. But I'm not sure since Ive never ran them.
Thanks ravaging-savage, if you have a bottem skid plate that should be enough to give you some extra bracing for when you cut the tvp. I went a step further and braced it at the top too so it's fully boxed in. I'll try to get some pics of the top brace.
I'd say the conversion cost me roughly around $300.00 on one build and around $400.00 for the other build. I can't say which I like better because both trucks have differnt characteristics.
I'm sorry I'm not sure what parts your referring too. The center diff kit is alza
chassis brace if your talking about the skid plate that's flm or the purple braces those are integy.
I went with the alza center diff, hot racing 48t spur gear, robinson racing 11t pinion, hpi savage rdlogic alum diff cup, hpi savage diff gears and flm drive cups with 5000k diff fluid
So I decided to convert my other savage to brushless. This one is going to be a center diff conversion.
More to come once I get the rest of the pieces. I plan to run my lipos up front on top in the center same as my other savage.
So I decided to convert my other savage as well. This one is going to be a center diff setup.
more to come when I get more parts in. I plan on running the lipos on the front center top like my other savage.
