hi all! got most of the parts so decided to put it together and going for an all black build as much as I can. lots of fitting needed for some parts otherwise very enjoyable build. did the bulletproof mod on the 3 speed along with heavy duty everything. titanium turnbuckles and hinge pins are on the way. added a video of the crazy fast steering response! not final but almost. hope u guys like it!

Being this side of pond have never heard of these, are they standard size & have you got them working off 6v hump pack?
A link to them would be helpful, thanks!

I stop using 6v hump pack when LiPo batteries became available.

Great equipment 👍 I'm approaching the end of building my monster, but mine is a budget version compared to this one

tks! my other savage is also a budget one as I got it in a trade and kept most everything stock. I'm in the planning stage of my next build and it will be as light as possible meaning getting the lightest parts of everything. the savage transmission is way too heavy and I'll be using a different version like the one on a Tekno nt48 and such...

sweet build there. I see that you'll need a rotostart on the lrp as the roll cage is blocking the pullstart or maybe not.. my rotostart need some trimming on top as it blocked the manifold from perfectly being install. I too have the lrp 4.1 along with a 30x. I also think that fuel tank sit too high up that's why I didn't install a servo plate on mine. keep savaging!!

The safety cage doesn't bother me, on the contrary, there is more space than in the original. Personally, I don't like rotostart. As for the height of the tank, it seems to be good. Before I sent the parts for painting, I assembled the engine from my Savage X. The F4.6 engine ran great. The engine in the photo hasn't been run in yet, I'm waiting for better weather.
