Melted my stock spur gear. Time for metal upgrade.

Removed almost everything nitro and getting ready for the brushless motor. Going to see if the 12pinion and 38spur will let me fit the motor and mounts in without changing the tvp's!

Just the transmission to all metal gears and so it will have reverse.

The diffs probably won't last if there the savage .21 or .25 diffs you might want to upgrade them. Also the truck will have reverse through the esc and is the tranny converted to a single speed or is it still a two speed. If it's still a two speed you might want to convert it to a flux single speed.

It's a single speed transmission now.

I thought so lol. I wish I could get my savage xl flux to do a wheelie. I don't know if it's the terrain or just the gearing. Running 6s tried 16/43 and 20/43 gearing I think I will go the other way now 12/43 gearing.

Yeah I just spent about a day and a half cleaning the thing making sure everything was right. She will be dirty again

I didn't have any of the O-rings for my drive cups. So I pulled out the dog bones and ran 2 wheel drive. It's way too hard to control on 6s nothing but Donuts

Um .... I bought another one off Ebay .... so that’s 4 now ..... (I did buy another with oodles of spares but the guy turned out to be a scammer, so I’m waiting for a refund via PayPal) so watch out folks some unscrupulous people out there in the RC world.

I upgraded trans. both diff. Flux tvp's motor and esc in my savage ss.25 but I'm still waiting for the battery boxes. Should I install the optional cap pack that came with the max8 v3 150a esc?

Thanks! Yup, I used HF towers and Mugen MBX7T shocks. The CF TVPs were custom made by Dejan Toplak of ALZA Racing

Hit him up on the net at http://www.alza-racing.com/. He can do both 3mm and 5mm CF TVPs

Had the idea of using Tekno Truggy Arms on my Savage...what a masterpiece The width is wider and I don’t have to install any wheel hub extenders. Steering throw has also improved a lot:
