I have had the threaded portion of the cover plate break twice now and all the bolts back out of the other 2 . I use lockite 242 on all of them and they still break/ back out . I have the 3 bolt roto start but also see there is a 4 bolt roto start with the center drive and no one way bearing for the f4.6 which I have . Is the 4 bolt / no owb design better to use U couldn't really find any input on it .

Locktite only works if the bolt / screw and the hole are free of oil . Also I think the direct drive "NITRO START" only works on the 4.6X or XL as you cant get the start shaft in because of the rear bulkhead now that it's in line with the crank and not off to upper left ,like on the "ROTO START".
Also since its direct drive you need a "NITRO START or a drill as it turnsClockwise from the rearwhich is opposite of the "ROTO START".
