I had some of these fabbed up a few weeks ago. Just simply remove the worn out plastic from your existing plastic piece and drill a small hole through it and screw it down. I'm looking to possibly sell some of these but no prices are available yet. If interested pm me. I have sent some to Jester, jcam and dreadnaught to have them give a beating.

Mine took a beating today for about 3 tanks ...

I have considered getting alloy body posts.. Not no more,, These are perfect.. If you run a long bodymont and are tuning w/o a body. And you flip and or wheelie. You know how easy a flip can turn a new body mount into junk.. These are great .. Thanks blazer

More testing to come !

Exactly my thoughts.

I highly indorse these mounts...they look awsome and are very easy to install,
That being said I have yet to "test" them I am breaking in a new motor, but fir and finish are A+ quality!

I know it's been a few years since this post was last used but did these mounts go Into production?? If so what was the price?

Nice Idea! i know that my body mounts tops are chewed down to the bottem from them scraping agaist the pavement. i may have to copy this idea and try and make something of my own

I'm working on my own version of body mounts for the same reason. Mine were getting wrecked. I have two mounted so far. I will post some pics when I'm done.

Not professionally machined. Took this concept and just used parts I thought would work from local hardware store.

Just a couple of pics of the body mounts I made to replace the stock ones that were getting destroyed.

Parts:

4 Clevis Pins - Cut to desired length
4 Large Hitch Pins
Dremel, Drill
