Currently around 45 f where i live.

Should i be doing something to keep my engine temps up as the weather continues to drop.

Also. Is there a temperature i should stop running my savage at. Can see temps of -40f where i live during winter..

To maintain :ercm: temps in cold weather you can wrap the head with tinfoil to retain heat, as for running it in serious low temps it is probably ill advised to do so...Plastics get brittle in very low temps and are likely to snap off......

Thanks. I am also wondering why it sounds off at like under half throttle and doesnt give smoke. I took a video at the end of it i got it to zoom in on my lsn which seems flush in my mind ? Was also over half a tank so it shoulda been awefully rich

it does look a bit lean on both needles, the low needle looks turned in about 1/2 turn too much but some engines tell you where they like to sit, as long as it is not overheating and seems to have punch off the line then run it....

I can see smoke at idle and it seems to idle down when you are on the brakes, are you using a throttle return spring ? Maybe your linkage needs a bit of tuning on as far as end points if it has them.....

There are lots of little fiddly adjustments to use on most radios these days.... your manual should help you figure out what is what and what each adjustment does and you can see them working if you do them with the engine off but the radio system on and working..... I always setup everything and check and recheck before running the truck....

To me my lsn lools flush like its at base settings. So i should turn it counterclockwise a little ?

don't tend to have issues with the hsn just always felt like my lsn was off and was unsure. Because at idle i see no smoke but i tend to see liquid dripping from exhaust.

Friend was moving away and he sold me this truck for 200$ he knew i wanted a savage 6 years ago. And he only had a few tanks into it past break in.. no scratches on it not even on the wheelie bar lol however he did upgrade it and I'm unsure of exactly what. I see all metal gears. Purple sway bars. Metal pipe. Big metal round circles in the rims. Fuel filter.. do fuel filters need replacing?:

The onlything was he wanted the hpi remote... So I'm using a traxxas remote. More i think about it i wonder about that shut off mod. Probly took it to

So i have no manual and not much of an idea past it other then videos ive watched. Kinda intimidated to take it apart to clean. Am i supposed to buy some sorta cleaner for it ?

I know i need a few things. Half tank issue.. breaks suck. Ive been looking up upgrades for linkage but can only find one of those ofna upgrades outta 3. Servo sucks barely moves wheels at all when not moving

Is there some sort of cleaner you would recommend and any specific way you would recommend on making it shine. Thanks jam
