I threw a stampede video in there too. It's a tough call as to which rig is tougher though. That stampede can take a beating really well too!

2017 0826 01 Savage Flux Cortland - just a very sad sad skatepark

2017 0826 02 Savage Flux Sandwich - Wasn't overly fun last time, but this time there weren't any kids there yet, so it let me hit more lines better. It's a 40 minute drive there. Still had fun though.

2017 0826 03 Stampede Sandwich - tough little rig

2017 0826 04 Savage Flux Dekalb 9000mah

2017 0826 05 SavageFlux Dekalb 7200mah

Was kind of surprised to only get a couple more minutes of run time with the 9000mah 2S packs vs the 7200mah 2S packs. The smaller packs are quite a bit lighter, which is easier on things when hitting big air.

If you want to check out my others, I think this will take you to all my vids:

don't get me wrong the pole ring after the hit was fun but I'm just admiring your dog bone fix with pliers, rock, and a light pole. Lol thats a good tactic

Great videos. That park looks awesome.

Took yesterday off from work to go to a bmx track I haven't been to in a decade, it's an hour drive. I did not have the right tires to run there and busted my flux during my first pack. Also, didn't have my camera running for the first 15 minutes, so didn't have a lot of footage of it.

I blew out a tire and busted the front lower hinge pin brace. Was fun while it lasted.

I ran my brushless revo for about 2 hours afterwards, it broke a few times, but I had parts to deal with it. It did not like big air as much as the savage did. I really need to step down it's shock springs/oil weight as it just handles awful and regardless how stiff you go with oil/springs, it will never land as soft as a properly setup savage. So, I need to stop fighting it and just let it be what it is and soften it up so I at least don't go through shock caps and ball ends like water.

Few more from last weekend.

i love your videos man!!! the front flip in the 2nd video is epic! also noticed you said the bigger battery didn't really last longer for you. do they have the same discharge rate? because a 50c is going to use up the Mah faster than say a 25c.

The larger 9k packs are 60C whereas the 7200's are 90c. The C rating is the amount of available current, so in theory, your right, but I'm pretty sure if I was trying to pull 90C out of the 60C packs, they would fry on me. The 9K's are older and have more cycles on them. I also run them mostly in rigs with 1/8th scale motors whereas I usually run the smaller packs in my 1/10th scale rigs that don't pull down as much current. I think my 9K's are just getting old. One set takes forever to balance charge and the run time is just getting less and less with each cycle.

Got a few more videos since my last post, even ran a few tanks through my X before shelving it before winter:
