I bought an old x off eBay dirt cheap. Thinking it may be electric when I'm done but not sure yet.

Awesome. I did that with one of my savages. Bought it nitro super cheap and the converted it to electric.
 
So here's how the builds started out. Stripped screws everywhere but it's stripped and cleaned ready for reimagining
