Here lately I have really been into the crawler scene. They are so easy to customize and really make your own so I wanted to give my first crawler body a shot.
I fabbed up a roll cage out of 1/4 brake line to really give it a custom look. My goal with this body and roll cage was to make it look as realistic as I could, a truck that has seen better days because chances are you are not going to find a truck with a fancy shiny paint job deep in the trails lol.
While I was at it I wanted to make it so I could quickly get underneath the body quickly if needed so I made the whole body and cage work on a hindge. I just pull two body clips and the whole body hinges up up out of the way.
I still want to get some scale accessories like a fire extinguisher and a fuel cell for it but other than that I'm pretty happy with how it came out.
(Scale accessories will also get you points in crawler competitions)
