HPI is now....Maverick?

Maybe they decided to rebrand, or are these for release in the European countries???

Gonna have to keep my :eyes: on this to find out the real skinny.....

I don't know if I like that new look, wheels on mt off of redcat, I hope cheap and dull is not their new direction,

Whats wrong with RedCat??? I have had a set of their 3.8 wheels on my truck for a long time, in fact one survived a headon impact with a concrete post while the suspension was torn off the truck.... Pretty stout stuff in my opinion....

and many of the latest RedCat offerings actually look pretty sweet.....
Radio control is going many different ways these days and if you don't keep up on trends you may lose out on some nice trucks....
I am personally interested in the RedCat Ground Pounder monster truck for just bashin in our RC MTRA stuff we like to do..

I read that maverick is going to be hpi's "budget" line of rc vehicles. I'm not sure if there is any truth to that though.

Does maverick have any affiliation with ripmax? Maybe they are just merging together?

There are 2 sets of web pages. You toggle between them with the icon at the top right. It is beneath the pop up to select your region on the link you posted X

It is tricky that each page does not have it's own URL.

Ah, you're right. Didn't see that. Still an awful way to design a website.

Can see on that page where they say the following:
Maverick RC is HPI's entry-level brand which has been available in Europe for many years - and is soon going to be available worldwide! With a wide range of kits in sizes from 1/18th to 1/5th scale, Maverick could be just the thing to get your friends and family into RC full-time! See details of all the kits at Maverick-rc.net or keep scrolling for pictures from the Toy Fair!

I don't see a savage equivalent in the photo's on that page.

The http://www.maverick-rc.net/ link doesn't open.

That's spot on, similar to how Team Durango and Arrma are setup. Team Durango is more race ready and ideally better equipped while the Arrma line tend to be less expensive.

Maverick has been around for some time now.
