Well, I've had the truck for a while now. Initial inpression is good. I posted previously when I first recieved it. I liked the "realish" monster truck feel. I'll spare everyone the unboxing stuff and skip to the fun part.
After break-in(8 tanks heat cycling, driving varying the throttle between 1/4 and 1/2, keeping 200-210 degrees, cool down between tanks), I started to tune. Honestly, it only took about another 1/2-3/4 turn to bring it alive. The KE25 was blistering at that setting. I tune more by sound and performance couple with smoke than temps. The old spit test also. The truck would actually pull wheelies on second gear while rolling.
One thing I noticed, the low speed was set EXTREMLY rich. It took quite a few adjustments to bring it to that perfect "snap". Once tuned, it holds it very well. I haven't had to adjust the 3 speed tranny yet, it is set good enough for me for now.
On to the truck itself. I like the feel 9f the solid axles. It handles almost identical to tge way the big trucks do. It suprisingly has very good suspention travel. It took a while to get used to driving it, as I used to driving my independant suspension trucks. I sent it flying anout 10ft or so in the air at full throttle, it flys level(off throttle), a bit bouncy on landing, again like the big boys.
I did send it flipping at one point, cartwheeling across the field here. Truck made it out without a scratch.
I will say it is made almost strictly a basher, or if theres a monster truck course it can be run on.
All in all, a fun truck that's suprzingly tough (not as tough as my first love, the Savage, aka Zombie Hunter;) ). Definitly a nice addition to the collection

Nice review. Have there been any breaks yet? Anything that jumps out at you as needing upgrades? Do you have any videos of it running?

No breaks yet. The steering servo will likely be the first upgrade, then radio. I think the rest will be diy mods. I want t9 make a slightly longer wheelie bar. The stock ones too short. Trying to think up a roll cage, or at least an engine guard. The steering setu0 is odd, really long rods. There's a savage diff mod, I may try that if I ever blow these diffs out.

Here's a video m6 wife posted, she tried to stake claim lol, says those trucks are my other marriage.
