Idles perfectly and runs decent except for one tiny thing it takes a few seconds to go from dead stop and when you first try to get going it bogs down. 2 things I'm running 20% nitro and I think manual said 25% or 30% so idk if that's the problem or... bc I run it super rich because of HTL or if you guys think it's something else let me know!!

What pipe are you running?

The first one is my vantage pipe carbon fiber and the second is my Imex alum pipe idk if they make that much a difference never ran them on same engine used to run my vantage pipe on my 4.6 motor and got my Imex on my lrp 32 may switch back to vantage think I like how it sounds better

Try the vantage pipe.

My LRP28's and 30 like a bit more restrictive pipe than the HPI polished savage pipe, but I'm not sure how it would compare to the imex pipe. I run a losi HT pipe from a LST2 on mine. Had to modify it a bit to work with a silicone coupler, but worked well with the LRP's so far.

I've been looking at getting a new muffler what would you think is the best? Not worried about price not gonna buy it immediately but down the road yea and pref a deep sound instead of scream... PS the vantage muff helped alot

Heard buku pipes were good for lrp motors

I think our very own @X has a buku on his LRP powered Savage X

Glad to hear it improved for you. The shape of the pipe/size and stinger of the pipe you were running was pretty restrictive. I think the vantage might still be a bit more free flowing than the LRP's like though.

All I have are the LRP28's and 30. The larger engine might need a bit more flow than the 28 needs. However, while the 32 is larger, it has considerably less rpm's available than the 28, so a pipe that works well with the 28 might work just as well getting some legs out of the 32.

Do some googling to see what works. There are a lot of the 32's out there these days. I read a few things and the OFNA JP-4 pipe was said to work well with it. However, that's a buggy engine, so the setup is wrong. Can't really add a stinger extender on it and the pressure nipple is at a 90 from the stinger. Looking at the pipe, it's a relatively abrupt taper and decent diameter. The JP-3 is similar in diameter, but has a much longer/more gradual taper. A fatter pipe like the 4 will be more likely tuned for bottom end whereas the 3 would be more tuned for mid-top end. But, since those are designed for a buggy... I'd probably look for something else.

The THS savage pipe always got good reviews:

Looking at it, it could be a good choice for you. Smaller ID stinger than the HPI pipe, longer taper into the main section of the pipe. Should give decent back pressure along with more of a top end power output.

Not that they are anything alike, but I run the big block THS revo pipe on my LRP28 revo as well as the THS small block pipe on my OS21TM revo. Both do very well for me. I used to run a side pipe on my LRP28 revo and ran the same pipe (Losi HT LST2 pipe) as I run currently on my savage. I just got tired of the pipe hanging outside the body and making a mess, so I got the THS pipe built for the BB revo and it performed just as well, without the mess or danger of the pipe taking a direct hit from everything.

I do! I already responded to your PM @SavageLyfe, but let me know if you need any more info.
Will do I was stressing thinking it was my motor or my linkage or some reason it wasn't immediately taking off and bogging down but after swapping mufflers and the considerable difference it makes me feel better ( once they heat up not as notice but it's there) (also running it stupid rich till I install new tank)
