Hey, so I'm new to the hobby! Bought a second hand hpi x 4.6 savage off Craigslist. Said it worked, got it and it didn't start. Took it to a hobby shop after losing patience after hours of trying to start it and it just needed a new glow plug. Worked good for about 3 weeks. Now I took it through some rough sand. It was real dirty so I Took it all apart to clean
-cleaned filter with water, put filter oil into 2nd stage, let dry out
-took out electronics
-took off wheels to scrub
-cleaned out gas tank with water, let it all dry out
-took apart the transmission and re-assembled according to the pics I took before I took it apart (spur gear has moving room)
-all I did to the engine was take off the heat sink and the bolts that held the engine onto the baseplate off
-I used a towel to scrub to dirt off the chassis and engine and I re-assembled it.

Now it won't start again, here's what i did to TRY and start it
1. Check my new glow plug (good)
2. Blow fuel into the carb (fuel reaches)
3. Flush the engine
4. Put zip ties on exhaust for more compression
5. Set low/high speed needles to factory setting

Now I am getting a really odd noise when I try to start my engine, like a high pitched squeak (bird chirp) and it won't start with my charged Roto start.

Reading thru this thread will help you gain some much needed knowledge....

things to check are the idle gap about 1mm, if the engine is not new and you reset to factory it is most likely too rich on the high needle....
as for the noise it may be the one way bearing making it. a bit of grease on it will help with that....

So I tried to start again, read beginner checklist, sprayed oil on my one way, and slowly dialed in my high speed each time. Still no go. What I do notice is that
1. Little amounts of Fuel is spurting out of the engine (seems to be coming out the crankcase) (idk if that's possible though)
2. I hear fizzing around the plug when I prime the engine
3. Noise is still there (probably oiled one way bearing wrong)

2. I hear fizzing around the plug when I prime the engine

Tighten your glow plug. Clean the surrounding area of the plug. If there is fizzing around the plug when you prime it then there is no compression due to dirt or you don't have the gasket of the plug even if you tighten you plug all the way through.
