Hpi tuned pipe

New to the forum, if the question I'm about to ask has been beat to death I apologize. Is the Hpi polished pipe any good? I read on some forums that it was but they were pretty old posts. I bought one for cheap thinking it would be a nice upgrade over the stock plastic one. Shortly after buying it I discovered a lot of people recommend an Ofna 086 or dynamite 086. I don't need all out performance, just something better than the plastic stocker. I hope I didn't waste my money on the hpi polished. Any thoughts and opinions will be greatly appreciated.

I have the same pipe and it works great, miles above that stock plastic pipe that comes with many Savages......

Is it the best pipe out there? No. But anything is an upgrade over the stock plastic pipe. So, I 'd say you're moving in the right direction.
