My clutch bell seems to be too loose and the brass washer is being chewed up by the screw. What do i do?
 
Left is new right is damaged. One side of washer faces a bearing, the other is the screw to hold it all on.

I think you need a different screw. Small head did this. Or try and add a washer.
OFNA made a clutchbell shim kit, lot better than these brass washers. I didn't even know they still existed. :) :) Last time I used them was over 8 years ago iirc.
 
An old member here told me to use a short piece of fuel tube to replace that brass bushing, works like a charm....

 
I would replace that bushing with a bearing. And match the screw head/ washer holding it in to the inner race of the bearing.
