I started with and original Nitro Savage 25 when they first came out so many years ago. I put that truck thru hell and back. Rebuilt it and did it some more. Life got in the way and it sat on the shelf for awhile. Ran across some videos on you tube of a savage with a snow plow. I broke out my 25 and decided to do some upgrades first. Then did an electric conversion with more upgrades. Then was going to do a double tvp upgrade to get a 5mm chassis. I then decided I wanted it longer and wider. See a pattern here. I am just not content with the way it is, so I have to change something. LOL I am now waiting on extended 5mm thick TVP's from TCS Crawlers. They are at least 2" longer. Offset wheels will make it wider. When done this time, I will have a very colorful Savage. Red, blue, purple, black and yellow. I am thinking maybe a Gravedigger body? I did make a snow plow. Just have to wait til next year for the flying white poop to return. LOL

It is a pretty expensive dream. LOL Just waiting on the parts to get here. Hopefully I remember to take pics of the build. If not there will be some of the complete project, then maybe a video of the first run.

I'm a video guy myself ;) either way we would like to see it :D lol I want to see the "wear n tear" on this suckaa

How do I get the pics from my phone on here for you to see?

Looking forward to this build. Keep the threat updated as much as you can!

As for your picture question. It's easiest to use photobucket with the "img" links.

Ok all my parts got here finally, but I have a few problems.I ordered the kershaw electric conversion kit so I could use the new motor mount and battery boxes. Battery boxes fit great but the motor mount will not work unless I drill some new holes in the TVP's for the cross braces. I also ordered the flm servo plate to get rid of the radio box. Same problem plus more with the plate. Will need to drill 2 extra holes in the plate and 2 more in the TVP's to mount it. I really do not want to drill the TVP's, these things are awesome looking. I am also trying to figure out how to do my pics with dropbox.

Ok this is what I did. TCS 5mm extended TVP's, RPM upper and lower arms, HPI hub carriers on rear, Lower esc mount with esc cage to protect it, to put it lower in tvp's, Flux HP bulkhead and diffs, Flux HP tranny, Aluminum upper and lower arms on front till they break or bend, RPM's on order. Terra Pins on 17mm hex. Have not made up my mind about body yet. I think it will be a Gravedigger body.

Ok this is the latest addition. I removed the tranny and put in the Alza CD. Got rid of the battery boxes on the side of the TVP and the ugly rx box, put in the FLM servo plate to put the batteries inside the TVP up front. I think for the time being, I am done. Yea right. hahaha

I have an Alza CD as well, but I'm still using the Kershaw battery trays. Wouldn't putting the batteries up front make the truck front-heavy?

This truck weights 15lbs as is. I am running two 3s batteries and have absolutely NO problems with wheelies or steering.
