does anyone know of any dish rim, that will take 3.8 badlands preferably with a 1/2" offset? I've found some in white, but I'd like to find some in black. Or maybe blue?

Ya from what I've read they will stretch onto a 4" rim

Well you could always get the white wheels and dye them black or blue to suit your tastes

I thought about dye, just didn't know how solid of a color I could get by dying them. Do you know of any good products that would work for that?

Rit fabric dye works good from what I read.....

So I ended up buying the black de racing 0 offset, and a set of white 1/2" offset rims from duratrax. I liked the stance of the offset rims much better so I decided to try dying them. image.jpegAs well as my sliders and throttle ball end. (last purple pieces on my truck) watched a few u-tube videos on dying wheels and seems easy enough. After 5-6 min in the black dye...image.jpegPurple. Left them in for another 25 min. Still purple. I thought maybe the box was Mia-labeled but my sliders came out perfect jet black.image.jpegAs well as my fingers. So decided to roll with the purple rims anyway. image.jpegIt's kind of a blue-purple and the more I look at em, the more I like em. image.jpegSo I guess savage-purple will live on with my truck

Looks good. Even if you wanted them black.
Weird it didn't work the way it should, maybe there was some kind of extra coating on the rims?

Ya I was thinking that too, they were fairly glossy. Maybe some kind of clear coat or something. Prob should have read up on stripping them down first. Either way I like the look, something different

You have to get the water boiling hot. Liwuid rit works much better than the tablets. These were white Prolines
Ya I used rit powder, the water started as a boil but I didn't keep it on the burner. I will try liquid next time
