I recently bought 3 savage flux XS not fully reading the manual burned up all 3 slipper clutches and all gears mashed and stripped.

Any one found hardened gears for the XS?
 
I haven't been able to find hardened gears for the XS. How are you driving that it's breaking all the gears like that?
 
I have heard that running 3s on a rig as small as the XS is going to break all kinds of things, try dropping down to 2s and see how it goes...
 
I run my XS on 2S, and I feel like it's already too fast. Maybe there's no such thing for some folks, but 2S gives me way more power than I can really use as it is.
 
I've never run my xs on anything but 3s. Tore up a lot of parts, but never any gears. I'm just now getting it back together with the 32-60 idler. I hope that helps a little. (But I've already upgraded every other part, so)..... oh and yes, stupid expensive. I could've bought 2 full size savages by now.
